Comparative Study between Beam Analysis and Finite Element Analysis on a Ship Structure.
The main objective of the thesis is to compare the results that are obtained by using the two most commonly methods for the direct analysis of a ship structure. For the sake of comparison, both analyses were performed following the rules and requirements of the Bureau Veritas Classification Society.
